The Bionic Chef is a Family Run business with successful roots in the catering industry spanning over 20 years. The name comes from the unfortunate events of Richard's road traffic accident in October 2011. The accident caused him to eventually lose his leg (After a few years trying to fix it). Through the long and painful recovery, the concept of the restaurant became clearer and more realistic. In October 2018, on the anniversary of the crash, we opened our doors for the first time. In 2022 we changed our business model following the pandemic to become a catering company providing takeaways, pop ups, events & private dining.
